I haven't seen Mr. Lindway in a while but I remember growing up how they let my brother live with them while dating Nancy and one day running a race with Marty. John and Maryellen loved you no matter who you were. They raised some very special kids and now grandkids. You'll be missed by everyone but are now with your beloved Maryellen.

Grandpa John was one of the most amazing people I've ever known. He was so incredibly sweet, caring, calm and had a peaceful way about him, I'm sure this was all because of his deep faith in God! We've never met John but we know his granddaughter, Molly Lindway as she is our daughter's roommate and best friend at Marquette University. Based on this obituary, John has passed on a number of desirable traits to his children and grandchildren. We love Molly and her family. Molly is the definition of GRIT. She is a very hard worker, never complains, is determined to be successful and is kind, unselfish and considerate to others. Plus, she drives long distances without getting tired. Her Mom and Dad, Deb and Martin are great and so supportive. John, you leave a rich legacy. Sorry we never met you, we could use some help with our golf game. . God Bless.
