Just had to send my sympathy to Mrs. Gilles' family. She was my 4th grade teacher at St. Joseph in Amherst. She made sure we learned the 3 R's but did it in a very loving way. She will be missed, but we know that God has welcomed her into HIs loving arms as she was called home.

Mrs. Gilles is now in glory. She always was but now God decided to bring her home and leave us the memories of one great lady. She also was my fourth grade teacher at St. Joseph School who was more like a mom than a teacher, yet we (I) learned well. Both she and Mr. G added so much to my life as he was also our 7th and 8th grade football coach. I saw them as a team, true partners in this game of life. They served us (me) well and will be forever remembered.
I regret not being able to be with you at this time but certainly know I am with you in spirit as we celebrate Mrs. G's life and testimony. God bless you all.

My deepest condolences on the passing of your Mother. I was very fortunate to have known her as young adult as you know and she always had a smile on her face and showed me much kindness along with your dad. I know she will be missed by all her family and many people she has impacted over the years as a teacher, in community service to CYO program, St. Joseph Church, etc. Your mom and dad will always have a special place in my heart and now they will be together again and I hope you can take comfort in that as they were both unique inspiring people.

Sincere condolendes to the family on the loss of their Mom. I shared teaching with
Dolores as we subbed for each other when expecting our babies. She always had a smile when she saw you, and loved talking about her family. We shared our stories with each other. My husband Ben was a side kick of Bill on the golf course and breakfast outings. We miss them both.
She just waved and smiled at us in church a few weeks ago,so her passing was a shock.
I know she is happily reunited with her {Will} and they will be watching over you.

Mrs. Gilles was my 4th grade teacher. She lived on the opposite side of the creek from where I lived. When they decided to put in the highway, they closed Dewey road and made it dead end street. People began to use it as a dumping ground, which unfortunately ended up being a place for rats. She gave me my first paying job by giving me a nickel for every rat I killed and brought her the tail, as proof. I also helped her with other chores and she was always generous to me.
May God bless her and bring her into his arms. She was a wonderful woman.
