Lisa we are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. It seems like yesterday when we were all swimming and boating at Mari-Dor Beach. I feel I grew up with Deb and you and enjoyed the times our families were together. I am sorry we just found out today because we would have come in person to express our sorrow. What a great life he had and like the movie "Its a Wonderful Life" I wonder if he had any idea how many lives he influenced through his store and then being a teacher and administrator. However I remember "Big Dad" the fun guy and what great fun he was.

Lisa & family, Please know that you all are in my prayers as you mourn for your father/grandfather. He was such a special man, and many, many former Willard teens had the opportunity to get to know him and love him. He always made everyone feel important. I spent many hours at Renne's drinking vanilla cokes, listening to music, and chatting with friends--it was the place to be! May God wrap his arms around all of you and keep you in His tender care. Keep your memories alive.

I started working for Rennie just before my father was killed in an accident. I was 17 and suddenly lost. Rennie without effort came to my rescue and became a friend and mentor. I worked for him until I left in August of 58 to enter active duty in the US Navy. Even when home on leave it was important to see him and Jean for more lessons of life. I am in tears at the worlds loss.
Thank you for this opportunity to express my sorrow in the death of Renna. He was a talented man and for years active in the recreation department of Port O Call, the winter home of many Airstream owners and Wally Byam members.
Renna was always willing to help a neighbor. He had a beautiful singing voice and contributed to the Sunday service at Tropical Haven by singing in the choir eo the accompaniment of his Dear Donna's organ and piano playing.;I was blessed to know them both and to be counted as a friend. My prayers are wih Donna and the entire family.
