Sam was my first love. He took me with him to play basketball every Saturday. I was 13 & he was 18. I traveled with his family Connie, Maymie , his uncle Gifford, and brother Glenn, to see his aunt Pete. They were a close family. He went in the service and we wrote letters while he was gone.Eventually my family moved and our relationship disolved. Sam was a kind and gentle human being. I just heard of Sam’s passing today and I’m so sorry 😢 for this terrible loss. I really liked Sam; he was so easy to talk to and he always had something interesting to say. I also liked his quiet, almost solemn composure. I always looked forward to talking with him at parties. Our deep condolences to you all.

Sorry to hear about your loss. We will miss seeing and talking with Sam while he was walking Beau on W. 38th St. It was a pleasure to talk and visit with him. He will be missed.
