Rhonda J. Warner

Rhonda J. Warner (nee Tominac), age 69, of LaGrange, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1952 in Lorain, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1970, where she was captain of the cheerleading squad and Trident Queen. Rhonda and her husband moved to LaGrange 16 years ago. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lorain. Rhonda devoted her heart to her beloved husband on February 28, 1994, and enjoyed being love. She always looked forward to their time together and always loved how every time they went out, it felt like their first date. She and her husband always told each other “I don’t care where I am, just as long as I’m with you.” Rhonda also loved her sister dearly and would be sure to talk to her every day. She was excellent at playing the piano and appreciated classical music. Rhonda enjoyed travelling and loved going to the beauty shop to get her hair done, staying up on the newest makeup and hair trends, and reading Cosmopolitan magazine. She is survived by her devoted husband Frankie L.; stepdaughter Samantha (John) Lacroix of Tampa, FL; stepson Clayton (Erica) Warner of Lorain; granddaughter Kelly Kinter; sister Cheryl (Bob) Baran of Lorain; niece and Goddaughter Nicole (Alex) Georgas; nephew Joshua Bulloch; as well as several other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph T. and Gertrude V. (nee Zientarski) Tominac; her cat, Precious; and her dear cousin and friend, Debi Hales. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. The Rev. Fr. Neil Walters, Pastor of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
