Agnes Johnston's Obituary
Agnes R. Johnston (nee Weitzman), age 90, of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home.
She was born on September 1, 1922 in Lorain to the late Captain Charles and Cristina (nee Klein) Weitzman. She graduated in 1940 from Lorain High School.
Agnes was an avid bridge player with the Duplicate Bridge Club, traveling all over to play.
For many years, Agnes spent her winters in Key Largo, Florida.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Christine Boisvert, of Miami, FL; and her grandson, Joseph W. Boisvert, of Port Charlotte, FL.; and her great-grandson, Jason W. Boisvert.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry "Gabby" in 1990, and her daughter, Susan Christine Boisvert in 1989.
The Johnston Family will receive friends at a memorial gathering on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. at Agnes' home, 4645 Oakhill Blvd. Apt. 205B, Lorain. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made in her memory to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
