Aida Arias-Cruz's Obituary
OBITUARY
Aida E. Arias-Cruz, age 84, of Lorain, died on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Huntington Woods Nursing Home in Westlake.
Born on October 27, 1927 in Lares, Puerto Rico, she lived in Lorain since around 1950.
For a number of years, Aida worked as a nurse's aide at area nursing homes.
She is survived by her sisters, Luz M. Arias, and Elba Benson, both of Puerto Rico; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eladio Irizarry-Olivario in 1958 and her son, Thomas Arias in 1989 and her daughter, Aida Irizarry in 2011.
The family will receive friends at a graveside service on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, handled the arrangements.
