Aida Irizarry's Obituary
Aida M. Irizarry, age 63, of Lorain, died on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at her home.
Born on July 9, 1947 in Lares, Puerto Rico, she lived most of her life in Lorain. She attended and graduated from Lorain Schools.
For a number of years, Aida worked as an auditor and bookkeeper, having worked most recently at Cross Country Inn, Westlake.
She is survived by her mother, Aida Arias, of Lorain; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eladio Irizarry-Olivario in 1958 and her brother, Thomas Arias in 1989.
The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering on Saturday, March 19th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 1:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, of Church of St. Peter will officiate. Private burial in Calvary Cemetery will take place at a later date.
