Yolanda my deepest sympathy for you and your family. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Always in my prayers. Love you girl. Diane Harris
My deepest and most sincere condolences to Yolanda and her Children/Family. Prayers for Comfort, Peace and Love.. May he RIH..🙏🌹🙏😞
So sorry to hear about Al’s passing. I first met him at a conference back in the 1980’s when we were both starting our careers. What a great guy with a thirst for knowledge and an uncanny sense of humor. He will be missed.

City of Westlake Arborist, Retired
I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with Al for 7 years. Always busy helping friends & family, doing side work, and constantly learning about trees, Al was an arborist superhero with seemingly limitless stamina. I can’t put a number on the times when he’s helped me and other arborists with tree problems just from a phone call and a grainy cell phone picture. The man was a walking encyclopedia with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and the burning desire to use that knowledge to help anyone in need. His mischievous nature, coupled with a relentless sense of humor, made Al such an enjoyable guy to be around. I can personally say that I wouldn’t be the arborist or the man that I am today without having Al as a mentor and, most importantly, as my friend. Al will be greatly missed and his legacy will forever live in the hearts of those that he has touched and in the roots of the trees that he planted.
Yolanda and family, I'm so so sorry for your loss. Al was such a great guy always smiling and laughing when ever I saw him. He will be greatly missed. May God wrap you in his loving arms and bring you comfort in this difficult time. The girls and I pulled together to have a Grove of trees planted in his honor.
