Albert Benjamin Cruz's Obituary
Albert Benjamin Cruz, 52, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Elyria Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness.
Albert was born on May 11, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Dr. Teresita and Dr. Wilfredo Cruz. He graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in 1989 and was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst.
Albert is survived by his mother, Dr. Teresita Cruz; brother, Wilfred (Anne) Cruz, of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Mary (Scott) Cruz Stahle of Lexington, NC; nieces, Emily Stahle and Madeline Stahle; nephews, Miles Cruz and Malcolm Cruz; and his uncle, Alberto Cruz Jr., of Homelake, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Wilfredo Cruz, in May of 2020.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Romeo Miclat and special friends George and Sandra Cruz for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
Albert will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will be cherished and forever remembered.
Private funeral services are being taken care of under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.
