I've just run across Mr. Moreno's obituary while doing family history research. I was baptized in Monterrey in 1953 and Alfonso Moreno and his mother Maria were my godparents. He and my father, Salvador Moreno, were good friends. I last saw my godfather in the early 70's when they stopped to visit us in Arlington, Tx. on their way to Monterrey one summer. I gather from reading the other tributes that he was a good man with a nice family and a nice life. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Alfonso Moreno was a great man, who loved his family very much, & loved his friends just as much, some my favorite memories as a youth were spent with my friend Bobby & Mr. & Mrs Moreno & my parents on summer vacations or road trips. They were the best!! Super Fun Lots of Laughs. He will be missed! May GOD CONSOLE ALL OF YOU.
