Alfred R. Eaton's Obituary
Alfred R. Eaton, age 65, of Elyria Twp. passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home.
He was born on January 15, 1950 in Lorain, Ohio to George and Dora (nee Monhollen) Eaton and graduated from Elyria High School in 1968.
Alfred enlisted in the U.S. Army and serving his country in the Vietnam War. He was employed at the York Company in Elyria for 15 years.
He was a member of the Eagles Club in Amherst and spent numerous hours volunteering his time with the veterans. He loved electronics, building and construction work and model cars.
Alfred is survived by his son, Adam (April) Eaton; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; father, George Eaton; brothers, Keith (Jill) Eaton and Kenneth (Leona) Eaton; and his companion of 26 years, Willa Harrington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Eaton.
The Eaton family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services and interment will take place in Kentucky.
