Allen D Frame's Obituary
Allen D. Frame age 88 Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend passed away peacefully January 3rd, 2020 at Avon Cleveland Clinic. Allen was born to the late Thomas Frame and Alice Frame (Brown) July 24th, 1931 in Birch River, West Virginia. Allen spent the first nine years of his life living in Birch River and following years in Washington, North Carolina. Allen joined the U.S. Army in 1948 serving nearly seven years reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class. His service to the country and community didn’t end after his honorable discharge. Allen moved his family to Ohio in 1956 and began a long and illustrious career working for Alltel Phone Company until his retirement in 1996. Allen loved fishing, working on cars, gardening, learning about new technology, home improvement, constantly tinkering and was a true outdoorsman and will be remembered because of his infectious personality, and ability to make light of any situation. He is survived by his wife Meadow Frame (Wooten) and children Joseph Frame, his wife Beth Frame (Stender), Rosemary Cloud (Frame) and her husband Scott Cloud. Allen relished his role as Grandpa and Great Grandpa and is survived by two Grandchildren: Ashley Frame and Christopher Frame his wife Megan Frame (Watson); four Great Grandchildren Christopher Jr., Marlena, Adeline and Skylar. Allen had nine siblings, Lloyd, William, Elmer, Earnest, Thomas, Burnell, Byrne, twin sister Alma Jean and Charles all deceased.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral &Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. immediately following the visitation in the funeral center. Interment will take place on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270.
