Alondra G. Serrano's Obituary
Alondra G. Serrano (née Reyes), age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2026.
She was born on January 29, 1999, in Lorain, Ohio, to Socorro and Maria (née Ornelas) Reyes. Alondra was a proud graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 2017. She continued her education at Lorain County Community College, where she pursued her passion for nursing.
Recently, Alondra embraced her most cherished role as a stay-at-home mother to her beautiful miracle daughter, Alina, who was the center of her world.
Alondra had a vibrant spirit and a creative soul. She loved experimenting with makeup, painting, and attending concerts. She found great joy in baking and had a love for cooking, becoming especially known for her amazing pasta salad. Alondra deeply treasured her family, traditions, and celebrations, and she brought warmth and excitement to every holiday. Her presence lit up every room—she truly loved life and loved others.
Above all, nothing defined Alondra more than her unwavering faith in Jesus. She was devoted to her church and her Lord, living her life guided by love, grace, and compassion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jordan; her beloved daughter, Alina; her parents, Socorro and Maria Reyes; her grandmother, Abelina Gordillo; her siblings, Marisol Reyes, Griselda Reyes, Jose Reyes, and Hugo Reyes; her mother-in-law, Kimberly (Michael) Smosny; her sister-in-law, Lyndsey (Dustin) Otero; her brother-in-law, Aaron Smosny; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Gracie and Gigi.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin Ornelas, Tirzo Reyes, and Eginia Urnelas; and her brother-in-law, Brandon Serrano.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:45 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral center, officiated by Pastor Reuban Figueroa.
