Amy Cecelia Kotab's Obituary
Amy Cecelia Kotab (nee Pyles), age 62, of Vermilion, passed away after a sudden illness on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.
Amy was born on November 14, 1959 in Lorain, where she lived for 30 years. After that, she moved to Vermilion where she has lived for the past 31 years. She was a head chef at German’s Villa, where she worked for 23 years up until the time of her passing away. She was a member of St. Anthony’s in Lorain.
Amy enjoyed going to the casino with her husband and Marlene. She loved her cats and being outside.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William D., 2 sons; Anthony D. (Lauren) Kotab, of Vermilion and Nicholas M. (Brandy) Kotab, of Vermilion, grandchildren; Peyton M. & Owen D. Kotab, and her brother, Dale Pyles, of Lorain.
Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Raenora (nee Baird) Pyles, in 2020, her father, Arthur Pyles, in 1997 and her brother, Jefferey Pyles, in 2013.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of her life on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, from 12 – 4 pm at German’s Villa, 3330 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion, OH 44089.
