Andra Elsa Juristy's Obituary
Andra Elsa Juristy (nee Arnoczky), age 64, of Avon, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was born on August 13, 1952, in Lorain, where she grew up. She lived most of her life in Avon though, where she and her husband moved to raise their family. Andra was a 1970 graduate of Admiral King High School.
Andra was known for her love of nature, whether it be working out in the yard, tending to her flowers, or watching the birds and animals in her backyard. She loved and understood animals and they seemed to gravitate towards her. Her deepest love was for her family though. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her high school sweetheart, and husband of 45 years, Ed Juristy, Sr., her son, Ed, Jr. (Dana), daughter, Erin (Jeff) Brunner, her 2 grandchildren; Jenna and Devin Juristy, her brother, Allan (Debbie) Arnoczky, and sister, Elaine (Ed) Tardy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Her granddog, “Rosco” will also miss her and her loving pats.
Andra was preceded in death by her parents; Andy and Elsa (nee Tyukody) Arnoczky.
The Juristy family held private services. The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, assisted the family with their arrangements. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dovinreberjones.com.
