Ann Suleski's Obituary
Ann M. Suleski, age 97, of Lorain passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph.
She was born on February 12, 1918 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Francis and Apollonia (nee Biel) Gargasz and graduated from Lorain High School in 1936.
Ann worked for Central Bakery, Consumer Building and Supply, Husqvarna and Frank-Seringer and Chaney Inc. in the position of bookkeeper and general accounting.
She was a member of the Church of St. Peter, Lorain and of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, knitting and baking. She was also a volunteer for the kindergarten at St. Nicholas Byzantine Academy.
Ann is survived by her sons, Peter Suleski, of Eagan, Minnesota and Paul Suleski, of Mesa, Arizona; her daughter, Kathy Cucco, of Lorain; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She preceded in death by her husband, Peter Joseph, in 2004; her parents, Francis and Apollonia Gargasz; and brothers, Joseph, Edmund and Eugene Gargasz.
The Suleski family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 3:00 -8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst where closing prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 24th. at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave. Lorain, OH. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
