Remember always the feeling of comfort in Aunt Annie's presence on the hundreds of social occasions at her house on Lexington Ave. in Lorain, especially the birthdays of her children. She was a Godmother, an angel to us children through our years of growing up, a protector, a provider of great food and arranger of children's games. We are all going to miss her, but take comfort in the good, long, happy life she had and the joy she gave to all of us.

I always experienced extra joy during my visits to Bob and Douang's home and being included in family functions because I loved seeing his mothers smiling face and happy spirit, especially when sitting and holding her grand children. She was so happy during those visits and I am sure even more during the frequent visits by Douang and the kids at the nursing home. She was very fortunate to have her sons so close to her in these last couple years. Being near Ron and his family and Bob and his family during all of the holidays and family occasions was something that put beautiful smiles on her face when ever I saw and talked to her. It is intereting that two good friends such as Bob and myself would have two wonderful mothers born on the same day, just a couple of years apart. That seemed to make her even more special to me. I will miss seeing her. I will keep her in my thoughts.
