Anna Krause's Obituary
Anna Krause, (nee Bosak), age 89, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain, following a short illness.
She was born on July 8, 1925 in the Ukraine, moving to Lorain in 1956. Anna had attended night school to earn her citizenship.
Anna had worked at Long’s Greenhouse as a designer of plants. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, American German Association and Lorain Liedertafel Association.
She enjoyed Ukrainian embroidery, fishing, old movies, traveling and family gatherings.
She is survived by her son, Gustav Krause, of Lorain; daughters, Anna (August) Graziano of Vermilion, Olga Mitchell of Amherst, Lena (Mike) Pelton of Vermilion; her fiancé, Narcesso Rodriguez, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter; and a brother, Wasyl Bosak of Miami Beach, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gustav R. Krause in 1999; parents, John and Sophia Bosak; brothers, Stefan Bosak and Alexander Bosak; and sisters, Tekla Bosak, Maria Kobak and Katherine Czerkas.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. The family will also receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 4501 Clinton Avenue, Lorain. The Rev.
