Aracelia Santiago's Obituary
Aracelia Santiago, age 82, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1943, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
A loving and devoted mother, Aracelia is survived by her sons Thomas Santiago, Miguel Santiago, Fred Santiago (Chad Thompson), and Paul Santiago (Sandra); her cherished granddaughter Alexandra; and her beloved sisters Amelia Martinez (Joseph George), Olga Torres, Iluminada Cruz, Dorca Ramos, and Maria Rosario. She also leaves behind her faithful canine companion, Benji.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymundo Ramos and Benita Rivera, her grandson Jeremy Santiago, and her beloved husband Miguel Santiago, with whom she will be reunited in eternal rest.
Aracelia was a talented beautician who owned and operated Hair Expressions for many years. She gave generously of her time as a hospice volunteer and was a dedicated member of Marriage Encounter. Her kindness, faith, and vibrant spirit touched everyone she met.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, OH 44055.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 1:45 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273. Please meet at the cemetery gates at 1:30 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Chapel in memory of Aracelia.
