Ashley E. Babics' Obituary
Ashley E. Babics, age 39, passed away on December 15, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Ashley was born on July 2, 1983 to Greg and Memory Babics.
Ashley was a 2001 graduate of Clearview High School where she was in the top 5 of her graduating class. She continued her education at LCCC earning her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Ashley had a zest for life, she loved her family, friends, pets, and most of all adored her son Alex. She loved to take him to Cedar Point, Soak City, and Disney.
She loved to dance, sing (I will always love you), boating, drawing, painting (multiple Gold Key Awards), and traveling. She loved animals and always tried to help the lost ones. Ashley had a big heart.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Babics; and her grandparents, Alex and Helen (nee Bozsoki) Babics.
She is survived by her mother, Memory (nee Denny); son, Alex; brother, Chris (Ariel)(nee Denney) Babics; and fiancé, Bob Kurtz.
Ashley final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio near her father. Her family will hold a private graveside service.
The family welcomes friends and family for a Celebration of Life at Rosewood Place, 4493 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
