Ashton John "Bubby" Taylor's Obituary
Ashton John “Bubby” Taylor passed away at the tender age of 3 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on January 24, 2020 in Elyria, Ohio to Joseph and Tara (nee Jordan) Taylor.
Despite his illness, Ashton showed courage and strength, and his family undoubtedly supported him every step of the way. He had a passion for adventure and enjoyed being outside, whether it was riding the rides at Cedar Point, riding on his Jeep Power Wheel, or watching his siblings play sports.
Ashton’s love for Jeeps (Jeep Jeep’s as he referred to them) and motorcycles, and his nickname “ Jeep Boss” are a testament to his adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for life. His family’s declaration to love him always and forever shows the deep bond they shared with him and the impact he had on their lives.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph, and Tara Taylor; siblings, Keilee, Kendall, and Austin Taylor, all of Elyria; grandparents, Robert “Papa” and Margaret “MawMaw” Jordan, and Donna Taylor, all of Elyria; great-grandmother, Donna Sheaffer, of Vermilion; great-uncle, Robert Taylor, of South Amherst; and an abundance of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and a community that loved him so much.
Ashton was preceded in death by his grandpa, John Taylor; and his granny, Hazel Driver.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Shipyards, 500 Shipyard Way, Lorain, Ohio 44052.Please enter through the Event Door. Funeral services will follow the gathering at 12:00 p.m. at the Shipyards. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Brookdale Cemetery, in Elyria.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family as they will be making a donation to continue their cause in fighting childhood cancer.
