Bambina "Bina" Fabrizi's Obituary
Bambina “Bina” Fabrizi born on September 1, 1929 in Pratola Peligna, Italy passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center joining her beloved husband, Quintino.
Bina came to the United States in 1966, settling in Monaca, Pennsylvania where she worked for the Monaca City School District. In 1980 she moved to Lorain and was employed as a seamstress for Joseph & Feiss until its closing. She then went on to work at Ponderosa Steak House until its closing.
She loved listening and singing to Italian music, dancing, cooking, baking cookies, and canning tomato sauce. She had enormous will strength and an amazing outlook on life.
Bina is survived by her son, Ottavio Fabrizi; daughter, Marisa (Mario) Volpe; 3 grandchildren, Geoffrey(Shalana),Michael (Jennifer) and Jonathan (Lennea); and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Luke, Sami, Jonathan Jr., Tyler, and Kylie.
The Fabrizi family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Closing prayers will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15th. at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral center followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will take place on Friday, December, 16th. at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, in Monaca, PA
