Barbara "Bobby" Pullin's Obituary
Barbara “Bobby” Pullin, age 76, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born on May 19, 1946 to Joseph and Anne (nee Maclanka) Balmert.
Barb “Bobby” was an amazing person. She had so much love inside of her even on her worst days. Greeting those she loved with a huge smile, a laugh, and an occasional eye roll. Even when she complained, she followed it up with some sort of positivity. She put out kindness into the world and felt so much happiness when it came back to her. Her biggest joy was taking care of children. It was not unusual for Barb to go out somewhere, and she was recognized as Miss Barb. People remembered her from when she cared for them as a child or when she cared for their children. She remembered them all! Barb had a special gift. She was so many things wrapped up in a tiny package. She was proud, kind and nurturing, possessing a quiet strength that drew people to her. She had a feisty spirit that kept her young. Although Barb’s battle with cancer was short, she fought hard! Her body gave up before she did. She will forever be missed.
She is survived by her son, Ron ( Brandi) Dvorscak; 4 grandchildren, William, Jazmine, Destiny, and Jonathon Dvorscak; Sister, Patricia Mayer; and brothers, Doug (Cheryl) Balmert, and Kenneth (Carol) Balmert; and sisters-in-law, Anna Balmert, and Susan Balmert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Pullin Jr.; parents, Joseph and Ann Balmert; brothers, Dave Balmert, Patrick Balmert, and Edward Balmert.
Barb’s wish was to be cremated and combined with her late husband, Jim’s, ashes. She did not want a funeral. We can all say goodbye with a quiet prayer and let her spirit live on in our hearts while remembering to lead with kindness and strength.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dovinreberjones.com
