Betty Barbuscak's Obituary
Betty J. Barbuscak (nee Janosik), age 81, a lifelong resident of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at New Life Hospice Residential Center St. Joseph.
She was born on September 7, 1929 in Lorain to George and Hattie (nee Zajac) Janosik.
Betty was employed as an Admitting clerk at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, retiring in 1992 after 35 years of service.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed collecting dolls for her doll collection and traveling with her family.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Jane (Dr. Victor) Fusilero, of Elyria and Christine “Chrissy” Barbuscak, of Lorain; grandson, Dr. Michael Fradley, of Boston, Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Michael Barbuscak, in 2002; parents, George and Hattie Janosik and her brother, Edward Janosik.
The Barbuscak Family will receive family and friends on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where a Parastas Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Panachida will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral center followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 2711 West 40th. St., Lorain. Fr. Nicholas Rachford, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
