Beverly J. Emery (nee McCready), age 72, of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family following a lengthy bout with breast cancer.
Born on August 27, 1939 in Lorain, she lived most of her life in Amherst and Lorain. She graduated from Amherst Central High School in 1957.
Beverly enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Emery, Sr.; her daughter, Brigitte (Jonathan) Akers; of LaGrange, her son, Robert G. Emery II, of Lorain; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; a brother, Harold G. McCready, of Cuyahoga Falls; and her sisters, Rosella J. Bellottie, of Cape Coral, FL and Carol Hoover, of Kenner, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold G. and Rosella (nee Mackin) McCready and her sister, Marilyn Cameron.
The Emery Family invites friends to join them at a memorial service on Saturday, October 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst.
