Brandon M. McGinnis' Obituary
Brandon M. McGinnis, age 26, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his home.
He was born on October 4, 1988 in Amherst, Ohio.
Brandon made his career as a welder. He enjoyed working with his hands and doing anything mechanical. He loved spending time at the Lorain County Speedway, not only working the races but also watching them. Bowling was also a hobby of his.
Hayden, Brandon’s daughter was his world. Spending time with her, his mother and his sister is what he enjoyed most.
Brandon is survived by his daughter, Hayden; his mother, Lori Beecher; sister, Brittany Beecher; and his grandfather, Ray McGinnis Sr.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra McGinnis; great-grandmother, Evelyn Ragnoni ; great-grandfather; Leeroy Lanning; and his aunt, Jodi Horinek.
The McGinnis family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Rev. Gary Dorsey, of Tower Baptist Church, will officiate. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
