Brenda Carol Gossett's Obituary
Brenda Carol Gossett, 60, of Lorain, Ohio passed away after a battle with multiple myeloma on Friday, May 29, 206 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on March 25,1966 in Amherst, Ohio and was a lifelong Lorain County resident.
Brenda was a 1984 graduate of Lorain High School and she spent 44 dedicated years working at the Ohio Turnpike Plaza, where her strong work ethic, unwavering reliability, and friendly nature earned the respect of coworkers and the friendship of many who became like family over the years.
She had a gift for bringing people together. Whether she was baking something special for a loved one, creating a heartfelt craft, or planning a memorable celebration, she poured herself into everything she did. Her contagious smile could brighten even the most ordinary day, and her heart of gold and generosity ensured that those around her always felt welcomed, appreciated, and cared for.
She will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Paige Gossett (boyfriend Andrew Stevens); treasured granddaughter Addison Gossett; cherished mother Donna McComas (Irvin); dear brother Gregory Gossett (Michele); nephew Gregory Gossett, II and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members and lifelong friends. Brenda is preceded in death by her father Carroll Gossett and grandmother Thelma Parker.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 3-7 PM with a time of sharing at 6:45 PM at Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001.
