Lisa Case - Aurora, Il - Granddaughter
I will miss Grandma, but have many wonderful memories to cherish. From the visits to California years ago (which were exciting for her 2 grandkids who had never travelled that far) to the visits in Lorain years later when she spent time with, and charmed her great granddaughters, who thought she was the coolest and hippest great grandmother out there!
Visiting her in Southern California sparked a dream in me to live there one day, and I got my wish years later. I will always be grateful to her for the many years of writing letters and encouraging me to move out there 'one day'. Her smile, spunkiness, ability to sit in a yoga pose well into her 80's, and use of slang italian verbiage will forever put a smile on my face.
Special condolences to my wonderful mother who, along with her sisters, took great care of Grandma and allowed her to remain in her apartment surrounded by her beloved plants. The woman had a green thumb like no other!
"Pops" will be taking care of you up there, grandma, and making you laugh like only he could.
Love, your granddaughter, Lisa
