Carol C. Dudukovich's Obituary
Carol C. Dudukovich, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Mercy New Life Center at the age of 87. Born on December 27, 1936, in Lorain, Ohio, Carol was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Campo.
Growing up on a farm in Lorain, Carol developed a profound love for gardening, a passion she carried throughout her life. She attended Clearview High School, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Carol's journey led her to work as a florist, both alongside her mother and at her son's floral shops. Her talent and dedication to her craft brought joy to countless individuals over the years.
Christmas held a special place in Carol's heart. She cherished the holiday season, delighting in preparing dinners, baking treats, and meticulously wrapping gifts and filling her living room with the presents for her loved ones. Her festive spirit and generosity knew no bounds.
Carol's love for her family extended beyond holidays and special occasions. She created cherished memories by taking her children to Cedar Point every summer, packing delicious homemade lunches for their day-long adventures. Before losing her eyesight, Carol captured precious moments with her family on her camcorder, preserving memories for generations to come.
A woman of unwavering faith, Carol's kind soul and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her.
Carol is survived by her children, Anita (Patrick) Ramos, Christine (Gary) Shulman, Danny (Ellie) Dudukovich, Tammie (James) Kennedy, and Margie Smarsh; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her lifelong partner, Tony Natel. She was preceded in death by her children, Gale Berry and Michael Dudukovich; her parents, Samuel and Mary; and her siblings, Emery, Mary Jane, Anthony "Tony," and Salvatore.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, located at 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
