Everyone who was in some way connected to Carol were blessed in their relationship with her. She gave of herself in so many ways, even despite the many obstacles she herself endured and overcame. She was a very early supporter of Lorain county Ohio Horsemens chapter developing, and helped clear trails at Charlemont. Carol had a heart for people, horses, and critters. She helped the broken heal. She had a warm presence and kind spirit. Her hospitality was known by many, two and four footed , and will be sorely missed. Her Feb/March Saddlebag party was always a hit, and we loved the “indoor parking” arrangements she made in her arena! Riding with Carol is a treasure to be remembered, for she made you first in many ways. One year I had a church youth group of kids who had never experienced riding a horse. Carol helped provide horses and walkers, and they got a free lesson as well. A wonderful memory for many. She fought many health battles, but her strength and fortitude inspired us. She persevered and even amazed us with her self taught building skills, taking on huge remodeling projects. Her home and barns are the canvases of her creativity. But most of all, we mourn the loss of her friendship. She set the bar high. Praying for all her family and friends, and trail sisters. Judy Budi
