Carole A. Johnston's Obituary
Carole A. Johnston (nee Lux), age 56, of Lorain passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born on May 12, 1959 in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania to Robert and Mary (nee Smayda) Lux and graduated from Yough High School in 1977.
Carole was employed by Aramark with the Lorain City Schools working in the elementary schools cafeterias’ for over 20 years.
She loved camping, going to casinos and her weekly lunches with the “Lunch Bunch” Carole loved spending time with her family and friends.
Carole is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Johnston; her son, Tyler Johnston; brother, Kenny Lux, of PA; sister, Jeanne (Lenny) Minkus, of PA; nieces, Charity and Betsy; great-niece, Taylor; and great-nephew, Bobby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Lux; brothers, John and Tommy Lux; and her sister, Betsy Lux.
The Johnston family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services and interment will take place at McCauley Funeral Home in West Newton, PA
