Carole J Mucha's Obituary
Carole J. Mucha (nee Mutnansky), age 75 of Berea and formerly of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice in Strongsville after a brief illness.
She was born December 12, 1945 in Lorain, Ohio to Charles Mutnansky and Theresa (nee Rogalski) Mihalko. She was a 1963 graduate of Lorain High School. She went on to further her education at Baldwin Wallace College earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
She worked as the Vice President of Finance for Tool & Die Systems and Lasercraft where she dedicated her time and knowledge to since 1986.
Carole had a love of all animals, she also enjoyed crocheting and organizing, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Amy) Mucha, of Venice Beach, CA, and Stephanie Braley, of Olmsted Twp, OH; grandchildren, Morgan Mucha, Cassius and Benjamin Braley; and her brother, Charles Mutnansky.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gerald “Jerry”, in 2018; her parents, Charles Mutnansky and Theresa Mihalko; and her brother Richard Mutnansky.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral &Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. Closing prayers will follow the visitation at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral center. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, Ohio. Rev. Father Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made in memory of Carole to Fido’s Companion, P.O. Box 518, Avon, Ohio 44011.
