Catherine Miceli's Obituary
Catherine Miceli, age 97, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at New Hospice Center in Lorain.
She was born May 22, 1924, in Lorain, Ohio to Genuario and Maria (nee Lupino) Cau and was a graduate of Lorain High School. During the war Catherine worked as a radio operator.
Catherine was a former member of St. Stanislaus Church where she was a very active member and currently was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew Miceli, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mark (Nancy) Miceli, of Charlotte, NC, Philip (Amy) Miceli, of Osprey, FL, and Thomas (Connie) Miceli, of Avon Lake; daughters, Mary (Ronald) Rae, of St. Charles, IL, and Jean Miceli, of Avon Lake; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Miceli, in 2011; and her parents Genuario and Maria Cau.
Private family funeral services were held under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.
