Celia Stawicki's Obituary
Celia Stawicki (nee Lopez), age 62, of Sheffield Village, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on August 5, 1955 in Lorain and is a 1973 graduate of Southview High School. Most recent, she was employed at LTI Power Systems with the UPS Assembly division, where she worked for 15 years. Prior to that, she worked for Lorain Products in the PC Board Assembly division, where she had worked for 11 years.
Celia loved and cherished her family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in all of their activities, and being involved in all of her family’s activities and functions. She was also a great supporter of her nieces’ and nephews’ many events. Her spare time was spent reading and shopping, especially when it was shopping for her family. She will be greatly missed and remembered always in our hearts.
Celia will be dearly missed by her husband, Christopher, her children; Miguel A. Navarro II, of Sheffield Village and David D. (Mary) Navarro, of Lorain, her grandchildren: Xavier and Phoenix Navarro, and her siblings; Nilda Rosado, of Lorain, Hector Lopez, of Elyria, and Miriam Lopez, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Angel and Laura (nee Rosado) Lopez and her brother Angel Lopez.
The family will receive friends for her Memorial Mass on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 9:30 am, at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, Pastor, will officiate.
