Charles Faurot's Obituary
Charles (Chuck) Faurot, age 59, of Lorain, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at New Life Hospice of Lorain after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on October 3, 1951 in Marion, Ohio and moved to Lorain as a child.
He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church on Root Road in Lorain. He attended Lorain High School and Hamrick Truck Driving School. He worked as a truck driver for over 15 years with most of those years at Jefferson Trucking in Lorain. He loved working on cars and going to the races.
Chuck is survived by his sons, Robert (Andrea) Faurot, and Samuel (Chrystal) Ferguson; a daughter, Evona (Kristopher) Gaughan; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Hamilton, Rose Mary (Gary) Phillips; brothers, Kermit and Kenneth Graver and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mary Faurot; brothers, John and Harold Graver; grandson, Cory Ferguson; grandparents, Ruth and Clyde Lambert.
Private family funeral services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, The American Lung Association or The New Life Hospice of Lorain.
