Charley Williams age 79, of Lorain passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013at his residence under the care of New Life Hospice. He was born on July 14, 1933 to General Nelson and Stella (nee Marcum) Williams in Trosper, Kentucky. H Read Obituary

Dearest Charley,
You will be so missed. I'm so glad, Mae and I have gotten so much closer these past few years; our connection being our grandchildren. Little Eric is as special to you as he is to me. You always brought him water and a treat for church - he loved his Papaw Charley (that was my doing for when we said night time prayers, so he wouldn't get his two papaws mixed up). It was funny when he started calling you "Charley."
I can never thank you enough for accepting my daughter as one of your own and later, her husband, Brian and their child. What love and grace you have shown in trying to keep all of us a family and also becoming family at church.
It was so beautiful watching you at church with your Bible on your lap or standing and praising our God! You're a good man, Charley Williams and will never be forgotten. You will be greatly missed. Love, Tim & Denise

I met Charley when I worked in banking many years ago and he was at Wickes. No matter when you asked him how he was, he would answer "terrible" to gain a smile...but he would quickly then say he was fine and blessed.
He made the day for many with his twinkle in his eye, smile and easy laugh.
