Christine S. Nemeth's Obituary
Christine S. Nemeth, age 70, of North Ridgeville, passed away after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer, which she fought for the past 13 years.
She was born on January 16, 1953 in Detroit, MI and moved to Olmsted Falls as a child where she was raised and graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in 1971. She has resided in North Ridgeville for the past 45 years where she raised her children and worked as a medical assistant for many years.
Christine could be perfectly described as the quintessential “little old lady.” She loved to sew, craft, and garden. You could always find her outside feeding the squirrels and birds. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs as they were known by name at the local McDonalds drive-thru’s. She had a humongous heart, and she will be best remembered for her great sense of humor and never having a shortage of smiles.
Christine is survived by her children; Marcie (Ryan) Handley, of Amherst and Douglas (Christina) Schwind, of Oberlin, grandchildren; Natalie & Michael Handley and Alexandra & Anna Schwind, and her precious dog, “Molly.” She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jeanette (nee Alred) Nemeth.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13th, 2023 from 4 – 7 pm in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. To send an online condolence, please visit www.dovinreberjones.com.
