Christopher Karger's Obituary
Christopher Karger, age 43, of Lorain passed away suddenly Thursday, August 13, 2015 at his home.
He was born on December 1, 1971 in Euclid, Ohio to George and Rosemarie (nee Galbraith) Karger. He was a graduate of Lorain Catholic High School and Florida Atlantic University. Chris made his career as a Nuclear Medical Technician, working at several hospitals. He enjoyed fishing and playing soccer.
Christopher is survived by his parents, George and Rosemarie Karger; his brother, Gregory; and former spouse, Deborah.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and West Galbraith and George and Bernice Karger.
The Karger family will receive friends on Monday, August, 17, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst where closing prayers will be held on Tuesday, August 18th. at 11:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
The family suggest contributions be made in memory of Christopher to the American Heart Association or the Animal Protective League.
