Clay Basterfield's Obituary
Clay Basterfield, age 53, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at EMH Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born on February 11, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Elyria West High School where he participated in wrestling and football.
Clay owned and operated Basterfield Floor Sanding Company for many years taking the business over from his father.
He is survived by his, son, Jason Basterfield, of Pennsylvania; mother, Reita Basterfield(nee O'Neil), of Elyria and his sister, Melody Little, of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Basterfield.
