Constance M. Kerecz's Obituary
Constance Marie Kerecz (nee Berger) also known as Cookie or Connie, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, after a 5 year-struggle with cancer.
Connie married Ted Kerecz, another lifelong resident of Amherst, Ohio on November 18, 1961. Loving the small town life, Connie and Ted decided to make their home in Amherst with their 5 sons.
Connie was a hard working mother and a tool & die maker for Nordson, where she worked for twenty years. Her downtime was spent on many outings to Cedar Point with her family, gardening and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren. In her later years, Connie and Ted both loved the excitement of the casinos, and for their 50th wedding anniversary they went to Hawaii on a beautiful 2 week vacation.
Connie will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years, Ted, her sons; Rick (Nancy), Anthony (Jennifer), Teddy, Michael (Diane), and Daniel (Tanya), her grandchildren; Jessica, Nicholas, Jake, Emily, Josie, Valerie, Klaudia and her great grandchild Draco, a brother, Tank, and a sister, Shirley Raifsnyder.
At the time of her death not only was she surrounded by the love of her family, she was able to say her final goodbyes.
