Constance N. Supers' Obituary
Constance N. “Connie” Supers, age 62, of Oberlin, passed away surrounded by her family, on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her home.
Born on April 27, 1951 in Oberlin, she was a lifelong resident there and graduated from Oberlin High School in 1969.
For 5 years Connie worked as a paraprofessional for the Oberlin School System. She retired in June, 2012. Prior to that, she worked at Sacred Heart Church in Oberlin as the PSR Administrator and had also worked for Oberlin College as an administrative assistant in the Alumni Office.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Oberlin and also was active in the Jr. Women’s Club in Oberlin and the Polish Club in Elyria. Connie had a passion for gardening and shared it with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Brad (Jen Martinez) Rider, of Lorain; her daughters, Laura (Ralph) Cole, of Columbia, SC and Keri Rider, of Oberlin; her grandchildren, Braxton Martinez and Mason Cole; her father, Norbert Supers; her brothers, Greg Sr., (Jackie), of Wakeman, Ron (Cindy), of New Philadelphia, and Elliott (Charlotte), of North Ridgeville.
Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa (nee Blanco) Supers.
The family invites friends to join them at a memorial mass on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 410 W Lorain St., Oberlin. Rev. Fr. Robert Cole, Pastor, will officiate. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Pittsfield Township Cemetery.
Contributions, if desired, may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart Church, 410 W Lorain St., Oberlin, Ohio 44074, which will be used specifically for the enrichment of the PSR Program.
The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst handled the arrangements.
