Dallas Ronald Tyree's Obituary
Dallas Ronald Tyree, age 80, of Lorain, passed away suddenly at Mercy Regional Medical Center on Monday, April 1, 2024.
He was born on May 27, 1943 in Lorain, where he lived his entire life. He graduated from Brookside High School and then furthered his education at Lorain Community College where he earned his Associates Degree. He also proudly served his country while enlisted in the Unites States Army, earning the rank of Sargent before his honorable discharge. Dallas embarked on his career for the Ford Motor company for 30 years before finally retiring from there.
In Dallas’ years of retirement he enjoyed being able to work on his lawn as well as admiring numerous vehicles. Different charities were close to his heart and would proudly donate to The Wounded Warrior Project, the Disabled American Veterans as well as Harvest for Hunger.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Loryane (nee Parish); daughter, Rhonda (Doug) Tyree, of Lorain; son, Timothy (Peggy) Tyree, of Tulsa, OK; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a sister, Linda Tyree. Dallas was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Tibbetts; brothers, Sherman & Everett Tyree; and his parents, Dallas & Major A. (nee Riley) Tyree.
