Damond L. Caffey's Obituary
Damond L. Caffey was born on the summer day of June 30, 1973 to parents John P. Caffey, Jr. and Barbara Alexander, he was the oldest of three. Damond was a loyal employee of Staples, in Sandusky, for over 20 years. He enjoyed the company of friends, and was an avid video gamer. Although very quiet, Damond's constant presence in the lives of his nieces and nephew was loud. He passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019.
Damond is preceded in death by his father, John P. Caffey, Jr, both maternal grandparents, and both paternal grandparents. He is survived by his mother Barbara Caffey, his brother Chet (Amanda) Caffey, of Australia, his sister Chanelle (Marcus Sr.) Brown, two nieces; Ashlynne and Addysson, his nephew Marcus Jr, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7th, from 5 – 8 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. His funeral service will be held at the funeral center on Wednesday, May 8th, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
