Daniel Alan Yambrisak's Obituary
Daniel Alan Yambrisak, 67, of Lorain, passed peacefully on June 28, 2015 at New Life Hospice Center in Lorain.
Born on September 13, 1947 in Lorain, Dan was a Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War on the USS Kitty Hawk. He recieved 4 Bronze Stars, 2 Service Medals and Ribbon of Commendation during his service.
Dan was an avid fisherman and boatsman, enjoyed classic car collecting & gardening. His greatest joy was his family of whom he is survived by his wife, Estrella, of 47 years; 5 children, Tressa Derracco of Columbus, Daniel A. Yambrisak Jr. ("DJ") of Lorain, Christina Yambrisak of Lorain, Stephanie Aguila (husband Paul) of Lewis Center, and Dustin Yambrisak of Lorain; 11 grandchildren Andrea, Timothy, Peyton, Danielle, Julissa, Thatcher, Brandon, Antonio, Alaysia, Samayra and Dustin Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents George Yambrisak and Pauline Looks; his brother, George Yambrisak and his sister, Cathy Yambrisak.
Dan will be remembered as a devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road Amherst. A service to honor his life will be held immediately following at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral center.
