Sad to hear today about Dave. We worked together at BFG/ Lubrizol in Brecksville.Dave was in charge of the “Wet lab” where we sent many samples for analytical testing. If we needed help with difficult samples, Dave was the person who could figure out what to do to get the results we needed.
I spent a lot of time with Dave in the Wednesday golf league. Actuality we were mostly in the woods or looking out of bounds for my golf ball while Dave’s tee shots were straight down the fairway. Dave was the best golfer on our team.
Dave was just a great guy.

I was so saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave was one of my favorite coworkers at BFG/Noveon/Lubrizol. In addition to being one of the best analytical chemists I ever knew (I could ask Dave almost anything and he understood why an analysis might or might not work), he was a wonderful teacher and a whiz at Excel! Everything I know about spreadsheets I owe to him. Dave also taught me the logical way to do a Sudoku puzzle and I use his method to this day. However, not to be outshone by his technical prowess was his fabulous and wry sense of humor. Dave could make me laugh on my worst days. He perfected the “Kramer slide” into a room (from Seinfeld) and had the perfect physique to mimic Kramer. Rest in Heaven, my friend.

I knew Dave during our working days at BFGoodrich in Brecksville. He was a good person having considerable character and quite generous noting his time spent with his brother. I was one of his golf buddies for sometime and enjoyed getting together with him.I recall several humorous conversations that I had with him, one in particular that I'll never forget. Unquestionably Dave was a fine man.
