David James Ingalls' Obituary
David James Ingalls, age 24, of Amherst passed away suddenly early Monday morning May 7, 2018.
He was born on August 9, 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Marlene (nee Wilson) Ingalls. David was a 2011 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School, Amherst.
Family and friends will remember David as charismatic, witty, and quick to smile. He will be remembered as a kind and generous person. People were drawn to David because of his humor and charm. He enjoyed fishing immensely, camping and the general outdoors.
David loved and adored his dog Cisco, who will miss him greatly.
David’s life was cut short in his struggle with “trying to feel safe in an Evil world”. Though he fought valiantly, he lost his battle… by taking one more pill.
He was loved and cherished by his parents, John and Marlene (nee Wilson); brothers, John, Matthew, and Daniel; grandmother, Mary Wilson; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who are also known as the “Ingalls Jungle”.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral &Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
