David Miller's Obituary
David S. Miller, age 60, of Vermilion, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at his home.
Born on April 25, 1955 in Elyria to the late John and Eileen Miller, David graduated from Elyria High School in 1973. Following high school, he served in the US Marine Corps from 1973-1978.
David worked as a quality engineer for Nordson Corporation for 26 years, retiring earlier this year. He served as a former President of the Nordson Management Professional Club. Very giving of his time and talent, David was an active volunteer with many local charities and organizations.
He was a member of the American Society for Quality, VFW Post 1079, American Legion Post #118 and Amherst Eagles Club #1442. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve (nee Szabo); his children, Michelle Miller and Marc (Lindsey) Miller; step-children, Terry, (Angie), Dan and Tim Bozsoki; his grandchildren, Allie, Amber, Madison, Emily, Maeghan, Nevaeh, Alex, Calvin and Callie; 1 great-granddaughter, Addelynn Rose; and his siblings, Judy (Dennis) Nacarato, Becky (Bill) Reaser, Rene` (James) Lewis, Ellen (Bill) Powell, Tracy (Renee) Miller Dostall and John (Georgia) Miller.
The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering on Monday, August 31st from 4:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 6:30 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst.
