Deborah L. Rogers' Obituary
Deborah L. Rogers, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at her home in Oberlin, Ohio, under the compassionate care of Western Reserve Hospice, following a prolonged illness. She was 74 years old.
Born on September 2, 1949, in Ashland, Ohio, Deborah was the daughter of Lee Morton and Helen Elizabeth (nee Rife) Foreman.
Deborah dedicated twenty years of her life to BASF, a Chemical Plant in Elyria, where she served with diligence and dedication until her retirement in 2010. Known for her strong work ethic, Deborah took immense pride in her contributions and accomplishments throughout her career.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Deborah possessed a zest for life that was truly infectious. She found joy in exploring the world, collecting dolls, Starbucks coffee mugs, and Coach purses, and sharing laughter and unforgettable moments with her family. Her love for travel allowed her to create cherished memories that will be treasured by those who knew her best.
A loving wife and mother, Deborah's greatest happiness stemmed from spending time with her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Gary, her sons Gary Scott (Emy) Rogers and Mark Nelson Rogers, numerous grandchildren, her brothers Danny, Dwight, and Dane Foreman, and her sister, Sarah Beth Jones.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Morton and Helen Elizabeth Foreman, and her brother, Douglas Foreman. While the loss of Deborah leaves a void in the lives of her loved ones, they take solace in knowing that she is now reunited with those who have gone before her.
In accordance with her wishes, private family services will be held at New Russia Township Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.
