Debra A. Fesler's Obituary
Debra A. Fesler (nee Hobart), age 56, of Lorain passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake after a brave battle with cancer.
She was born on April 21, 1961 in Lorain, Ohio to Donald and Pauline (nee Gadbois) Hobart and graduated from Southview High School in 1979.
Debra was employed as Counseling Assistant with LCADA, Lorain County Alcohol and Drug Abuse for 3 years. She was a member of AA and just recently reached 10 years of sobriety. Her journey with addiction is what made her such an excellent counseling assistant in helping others with their walk through addiction.
Attending concerts, working cross word puzzles, and playing games were the activities that Debra enjoyed in her free time. She had a tremendous love for her family and spending time with them is what brought her the greatest joy.
Debra is survived by her 3 sons, Jayson (Holly) Fesler, and her twin boys, Tyler (Kristina) Fesler and Joe (Kaylee) Fesler; grandson, Logan; sister, Karen (Bob) Truxell; brothers, Michael ( Tina) Hobart, Dennis (Karla) Hobart, Tim (Barb) Hobart, Kevin (Dianna) Hobart, and Brian(Norma Kozlowski) Hobart; step-mother, Sheryl Hobart; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27th. from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 9:00 p.m. in the funeral center. Rev. Jimmy Madsen, of First Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate.
